After seeing spspirate's 30 Deep Blue tank I decided to run my newly acquired 30 Deep Blue as a second display.

Beginning stages of the build!

Crushed Coral shallow sand bed, I added 20 lbs assuming it would be enough but it wasn't, so I get to go back to the LFS where my friend Jake gets to tell me "I told you so".

I let my super supportive lovely wife set up the aquascape.

Partial fill with Red Sea Pro salt mix, I have yet to set up the sump, so the rest of the water will come from a water change from my 120 after I get the return pump soft plumbed into place.

LOL, for now yes. I have a spare 10 gallon that I'm going to use as the permanent sump, I just need to cut some acrylic for the baffles. Thanks for the tank Cory, a Ecotech Radion would look great hanging over it

you need an mp10 or two first! why not just add a third baffle to the RS75? i dont need it, dont care to let you have it.

I'm going to use a Hydor or two until that Chinese Jebo Nano powerhead comes out. I can't, my Mag Drive pump doesn't fit in the return section , for now I'm going to have the return and skimmer in the same section.

Cycle has completed, so I added 12 tiny blue leg hermits, 8 Scarlet hermits, a "canary" frag of zoas, and pocillopra frags.

I played with the photo, adding a frame around the pic and a silly watermark on the bottom right corner.

Update time!!!!

I picked up a NIB MP10wES and a good reefer buddy loaned me his spare Eotech Radion.

So far I really like the LED but I need to see it keep SPS color before I can pull the "trigger" on a purchase of that price range.

I know it's a fairly ignorant remark on my part! I just need to see it for myself.
