Looks like you have occupational dermatitis there Rob. I have the same thing on my hands. Have had it for a year. I'm in the medical field and I was able to curbside a few dermatologists and they both jokingly said that if I put a glove on for 6 weeks it would go away, but otherwise its really hard to get rid of. Use an ointment like vaseline or a moisturizer as much as you can which will make it more tolerable. Sad to say it hasn't made mine go away, but at least they don't fissure anymore. Don't use a cream, that'll dry you out more over time.

For your fingers try Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream original (unscented). Won't heal and infection, but will help keep hands from getting chapped. Rinse hands before you put them in a tank, then wash with soap and water when you're done. Reapply hand cream as soon as possible. My hands used to crack during the winter before I started using this, and now they don't.

Thanks for posting this. I had this on my thumb a while back, but didn't know what it was. Horrible viscous cycle of drying, cracking, healing, cracking, drying, etc. etc. The only thing that ended up working was this tan extender of all things. My best guess as to why is the lotion soaks in first, then over time the hemp oil soaks in. IDK. Luckily it went away after religiously putting it on for a month +.
