Okay so Now comes down to Dinner time, After a long day Gab is home now and decided to Cook for me and my Boy rob as well as Granny and herself. she ended up making Greek Food.! ughh love her cooking. Anyways here are some Teasers

Nice build. My grams live with me and my gf. She loves our reef tank. Sometimes I'll catch her sitting in front of the tank just looking deep into it. I'll ask her how long she's been sitting there, and she'll ask if this or that is new. I make bets to see how long it takes her to recognize new fish and coral additions. She gets offended if I sell anything. Keep up the good work. I'll be following along.

Yea her Granny always is looking in the tank, Shes 92. She always says the yellow Cori and royal Gamma are the prettiest and most active, also the BloodShrimp she calls a spider i love it. She will sit for hours on out if she can.

Thanks Jay, Food was awesome and had a fun Time. built the stand in like 5-6hours, Just got a bunch of little things to do on it Paint prime blahh blahh blahh, gab is gonna be doing that cause i suck at painting lol. ! i Sealed all teh edges and Cracks with Woodfiller/Woodglue. gonna POLY the Sump area i think.

Nice built Rob & Gab + Rob! hit me up if u need any power tools. looking to your canopy built, better to add frame in it or aluminium angle in the corner for stronger joint.

yea we have aluminium Angles in the canopy. As for the Joints on the Tank stand i was thinking that the aluminuim L joints to put in or if anything maybe the angles for the corners of the stand.

Yea we did lol. it was raining out that Day thats why. We had a Sheet and No mess anymore, lol it was cleaned up when He left.


UPDATE ON STAND PROGRESS.

Stand is at a standstill LOL, But it will be coming along shortly.

I would say stand looks like a tank. You should not need any corner brackets or angle braces. Most companies would have just used a 3/4" board to support the tank, with no 2x4 at all. As long as u used some glue on your wood it will be plenty strong, and will outlast the tank. Looks like a fun build, good luck and looking forward to seeing this mature.

Just bought 100lbs of marco rock from marcorock.com and some Putty sticks as well.

also bought CaribSea South Seas Aquascaping Base Rock - 40 lbs from marine depot as well as some test kits
