my tank 3.jpg
This is my very first aquarium...It was built in 1984 when i lived at Grissom AFB, Indiana (55 gal freshwater w/red oscar)

My start of 39 gal column i bought new for 1 dollar per gallon at a LPS. I was following the directions of all the threads i had read from reef2reef forums.

after 5 months of life, i realized that the column tank is not what i want...my arms are too short to reach the bottom of tank without putting my armpits in the tank, so i decided to get a 40 breeder tank (FREE) by helping a friend paint his LFS.

Looking forward to your progress! :)

I did not take any pics of my 40 breeder during the setup but here are a few after 4 months of life...PLEASE understand this tank was setup with live sand from my first tank and the water from that tank. i allowed it 30 days to cycle before adding any coral or buyin the fish that you see in the tank.

May 4 2014, 39 column with cinnamon clowns and blue damsels....at time i was cautious of cycles to come

Using a vivid filtered camera this is what my tank looked like August 2014....i got permission to add a couple of starter corals (mushroom and poly) this is as far as i got with this tank...I noticed that my clowns had ruled the tank and forced the other fish into hiding
