Good afternoon all
Question number two from the novice I’m thinking rock and sand well TMC eco -reef and caribsea arago alive special grade,any thoughts and comments!also lights on or off for cycling and if off when do you put the on once again many thanks in advance

I use special grade sand. Big enough to not cloud up and allow enough flow. No lights during the cycle. It only encourages nuisance algae.
