Put two rock anemone in my tank last night. Both same heigh in the tank, just different sides. One stayed the other disappeared last night. Thought it had retreated and wasn’t worried at all. Was doing tank cleaning this morning and found this in the back corner on the sand bed. Took out, took a couple pictures for this reason and placed back where it was. This guy a goner or is it just ticked off and trying to find a new spot? This specific one was close to the power head but by no means direct flow onto it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

tanks a 40 nuvo. Been up and running about 3 months. Have several other corals all doing well. Haven’t tested this week.

I've had worse looking ones recover after months of looking bad. Don't give up on it, just place it near the other one and see if it responds. Good luck.

Add iodine and iron to water, place on sand, moderate light and flow . It has a chance
