So, our large rock decided it was time to spawn. Woah man, this thing erupted! Goo everywhere! I got video I'll post in a bit once it uploads.

It clouded up the water pretty good but all looked well this morning. Skimmer did pull some out.

Very cool. So does 1 animal release both egg and sperm or would you have to have 1 release egg and another release sperm?

Also, I just ordered one of these and it's coming in this coming week. I was wondering if you dipped yours in anything before adding it to the tank. I was planning on doing the Bayer Dip but thankfully someone told me not to do it because it could kill it.

Dip will kill it. They are not corals. They are invertebrae. There is no need to dip. Just drip Aclimate to your salinity and temperature and place it where you want it. From doing some reading it requires two of them to tango. So you would need a male and a female for them to reproduce.
