I've always loved this angel but when I last did sw this was a difficult level fish. Are they really that difficult now? Take preparedfoods etc.?

Aggressiveness can they hold they're own with a flame and coral beauty in a 180?

I think it’s cause they’re constantly grazing for food. Make sure yours is eating well if you plan on keeping one. Also they’re not dwarf angels so I’m sure it’ll be safe in a 180 with the fish you mentioned, they get pretty big

Well they're mainly sponge but so are queens, etc which are doing good these days.

I had one for years. It ate everything! Very healthy until I moved him from my DT to a different tank due to killing every cleaner shrimp I put in the tank. Unfortunately a few months later he jumped and died. One of my favorite fish. Still have thoughts of wanting another.

I purchased it from Liveaquaria's Divers Den. If you can get one that's already eating a varied diet that will lead to a greater chance of success.

I have one in my tank right now and he is very active and eats aggressively. I got it from LFS when after I saw it eating Mysis. I think it’s important to get a healthy specimen.

As said if you can get one that is healthy and eating I think you'd be fine. Mine was the king/queen of the tank. That was with a Potters and a flame dwarf in a 120. As with every new addition there is always some risk so be ready with an alternate plan.

I don't think I can get it locally so it looks like I'm going to have to put blind faith in a vendor. Hopefully it'll be open to food offerings at 3-4". Potters was another one I wanted
