Which fish/invert does a good job cleaning the rocks, especially detritus? So far I just have some hermits and a tuxedo urchin in my nano as my cuc.

I don't know of any detritus eating fish but for general rock cleaning a lawnmower blenny is a good choice.

For detritus accumulation, I have 2 tips.
1) More flow.
2) Hermit crabs, bristleworms, and copepods/amphipods.

Blowing off your rock with a turkey baster is very helpful and necessary if you have porus rock. All the cuc in the world can’t replace the old baster.

Okay, let me rephrase. Is there any fish or invert that keep detritus off rocks? Not necessarily eat the detritus but keeps the rocks free of it. Tuxedo urchin does well. Lawnmower blenny is in consideration. Any others that does well in a 75?

Pencil or long spine urchin. They grow big and will move all your corals around. They do a great job of cleaning rock. They even eat some.

So a tuxedo urchin is fine? I got an golden dwarf eel, so im worried that it will get impaled by the urchin and then i lose $700

I just got some Bumblebee snails and they seem active in all the crevices.

since you have a nano, nothing beats manually cleaning the rock using turkey baster.

Well, it's a 29, so kinda nano. I don't really like putting my hands in the tank, especially when I have an eel in there. Corals grow best when I leave my hands out the tank. So unless there is a long turkey baster, I'll stick to my urchins suggestions. My tuxedo does pretty well. I'm sure the pencil is better. Still deciding on lawnmower since I do like pretty fish.
