Sorry I'm still pretty new to reading. Just wondering if this little but of vibrant green I found on my rock is just simple algae growth or is it something nice? It looks pretty vibrant but I cant tell if it glows under blue light or anything. Still in the process of upgrading my lights and getting me whole tank together

Oh wow. Now that you mention it it does have a lime greenish color. It's not much but it does look like green coraline. You learn something new every day. Had no idea this existed until you mentioned it and I googled it. I just assumed coraline is purple or pink

I'll definitely do that later today but yeah for sure it doesnt look like regular algae based on the color and small amount. It's almost fluorescent looking. Is green coraline more rare? It's kinda cool that it exists and I've never heard of it until now

I have no idea which one is more common. I happen to have dark green patches mixed with pink and some weird redish coraline I found at petco. My tank is only 3 years old so we will see which one takes over.
