Rock Fest

I received an 8 Lb. Premium live Rock shipment from TBS today. I set up an observation tank using a 14 Gallon Brute container with a heater, powerhead and an old LED strip. Now it’s game on. So far, I’ve found:

good

several limpets
two hermits
what appears to be a montipora
coralline algae
Mexican Caulerpa

bad

saw a Mantis cruising across one of the rocks (trap is set)
removed 1 Aiptasia

ugly

removed three gorilla crabs


cant wait until day two of Rock Fest

Like opening buried treasure...you never know...take the mantis to your LFS for store credit.
