Came home today to find this guy had fallen off his rock wall. Moreover, it looks like he detached from his foot or at least a portion of it.

Should I give him some time in the sand, try and find him some rock space, or pull him out?

He's been fine for two months in the tank. Tested all my params (alk, calc, ph, nitrate, nitrite, p04, and ammonia) and all is fine.

Any ideas?

I would not pull it. The anemone went on the move, they do that looking for their own ideal placement for whatever reason. If the anemone still has color and expanding than give it more time.

Thanks for the advice there. I took him out to examine and it looks like most, if not all, of the foot is gone. I have a couple tangs and some clowns in the tank, along with some snails and red legged hermits. Can't imagine anything ripped him off the wall.

His spot was relatively low flow and low light. Can't imagine why it would lose it's foot out of nowhere.
