I currently in my 12g cube have 6 RFAs. I was told that they do not like alotof flow. My tank currently has 106 GPH of flow. which is around 8.8x turn over. I have a small hydor pico evo mag which is 180 gph I could place in it. or I also have a 528 gph wave maker.

Does anyone have a recommended amount of flow for the RFAs?

all input is appreciated

Thanks in advance

If you have 6 I'm assuming you didn't just pick them all up overnight. If they look like they're doing well, the the correct amount of flow is not some magic number any of us can pull out for you, but whatever they are currently getting.

If they're struggling though and you're searching for a reason, that's another story and we would need more info to help you there.

They are doing good with the current flow. I just did not want to increase it and have it bother them. I plan on picking up some other corals and would like to increase the flow for the corals.

Mine is currently in ZOMG what the heck SPS FLOW atm and are fine so you should be good in a wide range.

mine is in a tank with an H. Mag so the flow requirements are super high, there are no dead spots in the tank and it's a tank that's not capable of having sand due to the amount of flow. So yeah, you have a solid range they will adapt to.
