Rock Flower Anemone in "new tank"

How long after my cycle is done should I wait to put in a RF? I have had other tanks in the past and currently have a 15 gal peninsula. My ammonia and nitrites are 0's and I assume if they stay that way for this week I am going to look into getting a RF. Am I off base?

Not sure how RF differ from other nems. I would wait a couple few months if they're the same.

No need to wait. I added 6 RFs as soon as my tanked cycled with bottle bacteria, 8 months ago, still thriving today.

i have 3 tanks, 2 are aged with nems i put in 5 months after start cycle. i tried the 3rd tank only 4 weeks after cycle and my RBTA and RFA's are doing fine and well. its about making water prams stable.

I would wait a month or two, or at least until you have at least a month of consistent, stable params. I don’t think you need to wait 6 months like I would recommend for a BTA or other larger anemone, rock flowers and maxi minis will do well if soft corals are.

I haven't had any luck with rock flowers yet in my tank and I haven't figured out why yet. They just don't seem to like my tank and it's almost a year cycled.

Well I added two last week and they're doing great. Plus a few sexy shrimp to keep them company !!

Yes I know it'll be a bit to know the entire story but the fact that they took foot. They ate the other day and are hosting some sexy shrimp are all good signs .
