Hello everyone! I have a RFA in my 40 breeder that has gotten pretty big (4-5 inches when fully expanded) and it is starting to get close to some of my other corals. I want to try and move it before it stings anything but I can see its foot attached to the bottom glass and I’m afraid I will hurt it if I try to move it. Anyone have any idea on how I could either move it or keep it from stinging other corals?

The easiest way I’ve found is to use 1/4 line hooked up to a return pump and just keep flow on the nem. They’re off in less than 5 minutes.

I've gotten mine to move by adding a powerhead aim directly at it so that it eventually got annoyed and walked. Not heavy and not right next to it.. Gotta be there for when/if it does release tho before it reattaches somewhere else. Took the better part of a day...

Anemones are easy to remove from glass when compared to rock. You can take a plastic credit card (or something similar) and use that to pry them off. You could also try an anemone cannon as mentioned above, but it might not work as well for one in the sand. I hope that this helps!
