So i got this beautiful RFA 3 days ago and he hasnt attached to anything with his foot. He is holding on to a piece of rock with his arms. Should i try moving him or just let him be?

How old is your tank? The rock makes it look kind of new.. Also what are your water parameters and lighting setup?

Tank is 3mo old. Parameters are fine nitrate/nitrite/ammonia/phosphate undetectable on api kit. Salinity 1.026 Temp 76.3 F. Lighting is a kessil a160 we at 40% 5 hrs a day with a 1hr ramp up/down on each side.

He had relocated from where he was last night and must have just started attaching to this new location when i looked this morning. Foot is attached now thankfully.

Too bad i don't get a good view of him but at least he seems much more happy.

I was hesitate to put a RFA in at 3 mo but everything else i have put in has been doing great and LFS said they are very hardy. Ill keep monitoring him.

Still seems happy now that lights are on. He must have just found the spot he liked when i first checked on him this morning. Hopefully he stays put now :)
