It seems like the Rock Flower Anemone is starting to make a name for itself. In the past, they were often overlooked by aquarists because Clown fish don’t necessarily host them like they would Bubble Tips, Carpets and LTA’s.
What is your take on these beautiful, hardy and unique animals?

Check out this guys article.
@Ron Reefman
I've used the pvc pipe caps to try and keep them where I can see them, of course my best colored one always moves away from the others to the back of the tank. I like them, cheap and so many colors. The rock flower gardens are nice to look at.

Some years back I think the only RFA's on the market were MUCH less colorful and they all came from shallow water in the Keys. Then somebody discovered these colorful beauties in deeper water (30' to 50') and it didn't take long for them to take off. And for me, the fact that they fluoresce so well under blue leds is spectacular! They are fairly hearty although they don't do photosynthesis as well as the older shallow water RFA's. So feeding them may be required depending on how you 'normally' feed your tank. And if they are happy and well fed, they do reproduce. More and more reefers are having this happen. I've had 3 rounds of babies over the last 2 years!

In my signature below there is a link to a thread all about RFA's. Feel free to join in the discussion there if you like.

Here are 2 photos of the same RFA under blue leds and white & blue leds.

My nem protect on my mp10 paid for itself today. I found the one that wanders all over like this 10 minutes ago. Back in a bowl of tank water and a cap to return to his buddies, until the next adventure.

I love 'em! They're a great addition to a reef. Just be careful if you have peppermint shrimp...they'll snack on 'em.
That’s great advice, as I’m sure many of us were not aware of that!
