Has anyone ever had rock flowers propagate in their reef? I have had 2 for years and I just put them close together and found what I think are baby's all over my tank

Yup! Look like rfa babies to me. I'm growing out ~30 that spawned back in July this year.

It's amazing because I have only 2 and they have been in my tank for years and nothing but a month ago I put them next to each other and it happened immediately. Just wish it was the real nice one that spawned ( bullseye) all the baby's apear to be exactly like my orange one.

I have have 1 adult that grew from a baby, the rest didn’t survive a cross country move. Now I have about 30 or so that I can see growing. I was able to isolate around 10 to my frag tank that were in the sand hoping I can grow them.
I don’t believe they always take after their parents coloring as I have several that look nothing like the others in my tank. I’ve heard it’s hard to raise them to adults so I wish you luck… hopefully I have luck as well!

I once had a purple plate coral that was absolutely huge 8-9" every once in a while. Id see a white cloud in the tank. One day I seen that it was the plate coral, I wonder now if it was attempting to spawn? I had several plates in the tank. These are very interesting pictures. I can only hope my rfa's get to this point.
