Rock Flower in a 15 gallon?

I would wait till it settles well, but after that I know they tend not to move but can grow, so I would have my corals on different rocks or at least far from the nem, any risks to corals or fish? I know theres always a "risk" but whats the likelihood with them?

I have had a rock flower in my 24 gallon for about 7 months now it planted and has not moved at all. It seems to be very happy and have had no issues with it. I know they have a mind of their own so it may not work out the same for you but overall I think it should be fine.

Thanks! I understand they move before planting, so I will wait until it finds a spot to "glue" onto fully before I get corals or anything

Yeah let it plant I was lucky and mine planted in the same spot I put it in the tank it didn't move at all but that is not normal.

You can add the rfa anytime your tank is ready. I have a 30 overpopulated with mostly hammer and acans and of course maybe 30 RFAs of differing sizes. Zoas grow right up to them. I have baby RFAs in a zoa patch. You'll love them. Get 3.

RFA's don't move much compared to BTA's imo.

You’ll be fine with them in a 15G

I started with 2 they never moved from where I placed them (4-5 months) until I had a Dino bloom and they walked all over the tank trying to get away from the Dino’s. One has since settled and the other one still moves around from time to time and is on the smaller side and looks less healthy. I added another one next to the settled one and it’s stayed put since I got it.

They aren’t like most other nems and don’t seem to have a sting to them. But watch out they will and do eat snails and I’ve heard of fish but mine haven’t yet.

Here’s one of mine eating a trochus snail he’s also ate a cerith snail. To be fair I had a die off of snails due to high phosphate right after this so maybe they were on the way out anyways.

I have 2 in my 20 gallon with no issues. They don’t bother the corals unless the corals fall on them and knock on wood they haven’t eaten any of my small fish

I have two in my 13.5 Evo. They will get stung by aiptasia and move, so make sure to eliminate any polyps that pop up around them quickly.

The only issue I’ve ever had was with torches and frogspawn.
I have about 60 in my species only tank and only one makes laps around the tank lol the others will move maybe an inch or so when their sheds irritate them.

I think I have a perpetually pregnant female. The adults are about 3 inches. I'm gradually moving corals to another tank with thoughts of doing a rfa tank. There's 30 or so the are one fourth to three eighths inch. I'm constantly finding more. Beautiful in any tank.

One of my absolute favorite aquarium creatures. I have four in my 12G long. Most of the time they stay put but I do have one that wanders around, up the glass, over the rock....

I love them, it’s my favorite tank by far lol I did a lagoon with them and I adore exploring at night to find more babies!
