I have a rock that I was planning to let a favia completely cover and take over. There is now a rock flower nem on the rock. They are several inches apart right now, but as they grow, will the nem sting and bother the favia? Thanks.

It's the rock in the lower right corner in the front of the tank.

Hi the answer is yes like all anemones they sting I’m not sure if it’ll move to purposely sting the favia but contact is def not good...

I have about 30 RF nems. Their sting doesn’t do much really. Not really your typical Anemone that’s stings the heck out of things. Never bothers any of my favia either. Matter of fact a couple of them decided to nest down in a huge patch of Sunny D’S and BBEB Zoas. The Zoas and the nems don’t seem to be bothered by one another.

Thank you. I'm trying to stay away from nems that will damage my coral, but I was starting to doubt my decisions to let these two stay together. Thank you for sharing your experience.
