Rock Flower Nems In Sump?

Sooo I had this idea, I have a refugium chamber in my sump currently with just some seachem bio media. If I wanted to forgo actually using it as a refugium and put adequate light over it (like a kessil a80) and possibly a small power head for more flow could i keep rock flower nems in there? The chamber has about 4g of water in it.

Any idea if that substrate would be fine for the nems?

That seems just fine, I keep mine inside of the barnacles, they like to have somewhere to hide.

Hmmm now to decide If i want a rock nem garden or an actually useful refugium lol

You could do just sand, but they move around when it's just sand. I would suggest rubble on the bottom then sand on top. They like to attach to rock.
