I am trying to decide if I should buy a Rock Flower Anemone or Bubble Tip Anemone. My concerns are whatever I get I don't want it to sting any of my current coral. I also kind of want whichever require the least amount of care. I do understand that either will take some care. Currently my tank is fairly self sufficient and requires little weekly maintenance and of course a more involved monthly maintenance.

Current Stock
-2 Ocellaris Clowns
-2 Firefish
-1 Goby
-1 Blenny
-1 Tuxedo Urchin
-Variety of snails and hermits

I have two small islands of green star polyps living on my sand bed
Living on the rocks are Kenya Tree, Mushroom, Leather, Favia, Chalice Brain

Any help would be appreciated.

My rock flower seems nearly bullet proof and it has never moved since adding it to my tank. I never even directly feed it, I just let it catch whatever extra food might be blowing around.

I do love seeing clownfish host a BTA though.

Thanks. Seeing my clowns host would be great. But I don't want to get into more than I can handle. I really just want to add more diversity to my tank.

Both could sting but btas will generally move around more. BTW, the anemone does the hosting, not the fish. :)

Some of my rockflowers are touching zoanthids.

I used to fret about that, but the zoanthids don't seem unduly upset, so I stopped worrying about them.

Rockflowers will move a bit if they're unhappy, but they don't tend to wander very far. They also don't split and take over the tank, which I've seen BTAs do.

My clowns use different corals as hosts so don't have to have bta. Flower anemones are easier by far.
