Hey guys, I got my rocks rearranged. I also cleaned most of the algae that was ruining the look of my tank. My corals are looking a bit bad due to the fact that I got the coral from my friend and we both get our water from different stores. So they are used to the other formula. I still got that ghetto piano sheet holder supporting my light, high key cringe. I still have a lot to learn about reefing!

Yea, the light is waterproof, thats one thing I’m scared of happening.

Stay on top of your water changes and replace that filter cartridge in the HOB Filter often. It looks like an Aqueon filter. You can get the other filter media that goes just before the water falls into the tank. They have ones that are specific to carbon, phosphorous etc. Change those little filters often. Pick up something for water circulation too.

I just broke down my 29 gallon with HOB filter and had to stay on top of water changes to maintain a good water quality.

The filter is a Quiet Flow 10, I expected it to be quieter because of the model name[emoji23]. It had one of those carbon things you were talking about but I dropped it somewhere, I’m really broke right now which isn’t good for a situation like this but I’ll get back on my feet! Thank you! [emoji18]
