Maybe a dumb question. I have dry rock that has been "seeded" in tubs with sme previously established live rock. These tubs were started with fresh saltwater, heated and supplied with flow via powerheads for 4 months now. I am just now getting to set the tank up.
Is there any beneficial reason to use the water from the tubs when filling the tank (volume of tank is 230 gallons and 20 gallons or so in the tubs)?
