so one of my rocks split right down the middle. It's probably being supported by the glue on the outside half of the rock.

Does anyone have suggestions on what to do? I was thinking about buying an adhesive that worked under water...but I'm not sure which one would work.

The pictures are pretty bad, but you get the idea. It's split like a log.

Is it important that it be one piece? If not, leave it. Rocks cleave in half all the time. If it is important, then any kind of two part epoxy putty will likely work. I prefer D&D because it is stickier. Water weld is probably fine too, just never personally used it.

It's not important that it remains in one piece...I guess I was worried about it falling off it's currently mounted position and into an invert or the back glass.

I will give the epoxy putty a go!

Make sure it's stable. Hitting back glass could be bad for you. Smashing a snail, bad for the snail, good for ones that'd eat it.

Wellp, it split right open. Not even a few hours and here we are. I'm going to rest them on the side for now, and remove the single acro frag I had on it...then reposition it elsewhere. Luckily it didn't hit anything....man I thought I'd have at least a few hours to get putty.

If you want a barnacle cluster, I think I have one that would fill that.
