Hello I was wondering what everyone was thinking of this rock formation I made it’s for a 50 gallon tank that’s 24 inches wide and 24 inches long it’s the water-box marine 60.2.

I understand what your saying but pulling this apart would take a few seconds as nothing is glued in or needs to be. As some of the top rocks do need to be removed to get to the bottom I would think I could take them out if I were toIt’s really good but I have a friendly challenge
make it modular, able to be disassembled and not locked into place.
If Bryopsis or red gelidium were to show up on the bottom rocks, have your tank designed so that you can get to those rocks outside the tank if required, to kill the target easily and without hesitation, then put the stack back saving you months of coral bleaching as you try and only starve the targets while the rocks stay in the system, supporting their growth. If you do this, you’ve reverse engineered twenty years of lost tanks to algae challenges. The entrants into twenty years of lost tank invasion threads all have inaccessibility and unwillingness to access as the hallmark features of their reef.

I see you’re point most of the bottom pieces can be removed with ease. But I do see the landscape would dramatically have to change to cover this though
Okay I’ll try to make those bottom rocks more reachable though thank you for your helpAgreed fully, the entire life trajectory of your reef is set positively by that plan
Since there Marco and shelf rocks they don’t need to be cured?Agreed fully, the entire life trajectory of your reef is set positively by that plan
