Rock the boat or let 'er ride?

So my tank is just chugging along. No major changes, no losses, etc. Pretty happy just maintaining it and watching the corals slowly grow.

All my fish are doing well *knock on wood*, and except for the clownfish in-fighting (solved by moving one pair to the sump), all the inhabitants are getting along.

Having said all that... it's boring not adding anything new.

I'd like to add a couple more fish, but I'm hesitant to rock the boat and tempt fate. After the previous issues we had I should just be content and leave things alone.

I know I could quarantine, etc., but I don't have the setup for that and don't want to spend more money on more equipment. I've been reading a lot about "pre-quarantined" fish, but between the winter weather and shipping fiascos, that's not a viable option right now. I've also seen posts where even "pre-quarantined" doesn't completely eliminate any possible issues.

What do you all do when you get to this point?

Start a new tank

If not i vote keep what you have.. you’ll be kicking yourself later if you add something and it all starts falling apart.

I usually add corals when I get bored. New fish tend to add more uncertainty and my clowns are bullies in my small tank.

Corals tend to rock the boat less even without quarantine. I do give them a good dip tho.

You could do something like starting a nice display sump, if you don't already have one.
