rock to use or not

If it was in a saltwater aquarium With no problems I would say go for it if

Dunno if it had no problems haha. It sat in there no fish just up and running then he tore it down last year and I went to pick it all up. Not even sure what kinda rock it is. Just don't wanna put in stuff that'll leach metals

Looks like lace rock or texas holey rock. I've used it for attaching corals to sell, but don't know much else about it.
