Can I put dry rock in a established tank or will effect my parameters?

Dry rock has dead organisms on it. Either cure it, or add it one small well rinsed and scrubbed piece at a time, and allow your biological filter to keep up.

ONly thing it would affect is the phosphates, if we are talking about man made dry rock.

I used dry rock to start my tank and my nitrates are over 160ppm.... and they won't come down. Like the others said, cure it first.
