My current QT set up is just PVC pipe in the QT besides air stone and filter.

I'm in the middle of a move (less than 2 miles down the road) and my kids found our old colored rocks and ornamental fixtures from a small freshwater tank we had.

I have two questions

1. Will the colored rocks (small stones type) affect water chemistry?
- Imagitarium brand and it says for freshwater and saltwater use, but I'm concerned the dye "bleeds" off over time.

2. Will the rocks of fixtures absorb copper?
- Just for expectation management when I begin copper treatments again.

Thank you for any advice and guidance.

It's best to just not use any rocks or other decorations in quarantine. PVC(or other plastics) and an air stone is just fine. Fewer things to absorb medications or trap parasites the better.

@Big G @AcroNem Thank you for the feedback. Decided to stick with just the PVC and filter. I think the Tiki Man we had in the freshwater is a cheap plastic with tons of scoring on it. Better safe than sorry based off of your feedback. Thanks again.
