Do to a loose hose and now a soaked living room floor I've decided to tare down my Oceanic BioCube 29 and start from scratch. I always hated the look of the black false wall so I've decided part of the new build will be a rock wall to cover the false wall. Since this build isn't going to happen overnight I currently have all my live rock sitting in the sun to dry out and with that said I'd like to use this rock for the wall. What problem am I going to run into reusing this rock once the tank is started up?

It should be fine. You could boil it to make sure the rock is free of contaminants. I was thinking you don’t have much space in a nano tank. I wonder if you could get a nice look by cutting some of the rock into thin slices and affixing it to the back to completely cover the black plastic. Then build your rockscape in front of the wall. Just a thought...
