Hey Kev, you got urchins still?

I can mail you some. Stoney gave me more then I could ever use!

Baseball hat, hard hat, Viking helmet, witches hat, various cowboy hats.

Just DM me your address and style/size preference

You are the best @ESABOE! I’m weird, if I don’t see it on a reef it’s not in my tank. I love the looks of the designer clowns, I wont get one because they are not in the wild. Regular ocellaris for me. I think the hats are hilarious, but I wouldn’t see an urchin in the wild with one. My daughter tried to talk me into getting it a hat and I shut her down. I do get a kick out of seeing them in other people’s reefs!

So bottle caps are ok? :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Or maybe golf balls? Actually I wonder if those might be reef safe :thinking-face:

I understand though, I gave my urchin hats for the giggles, and to help leave other things alone, but otherwise keep it natural.

Well, I guess if you saw them on a reef then absolutely!

I agree with you Kev, I don’t want a SpongeBob looking tank. However, I figured since the urchin is gonna pick up things like new frags and the occasional CUC, I thought a cute hat would take up some real estate and make me laugh.

ive had regular clowns and loved them just as much; my little mini-orca clowns bring something different to the tank; sorta like those overly aqua-cultured zoas that look like a bag of chiklets - love those too mixed in with more subtle ones that some people think are boring. That’s what I love about this hobby; you can create region- specific tanks that only have fish/corals from there or you can create a color specific tank or anything in-between. You just have to imagine it.
