Is the DI vertical with water flowing in the bottom and out the top?

correct vertical and fills from bottom up
got the gauge but will be tomorrow before I install

Got to zero today

Feels Great
installed psi gauge and it was at approx 53 psi


changed 1st stage to a sediment filter 5 micron unit
taking out the carbon one I had in there
replaced entire cannister and sponge for DI resin and filled again will fresh DI resin
from Mini Reef(SAL)
I am suspecting it was the DI resin cannister maybe just was compromised somehow?

Awesome!

Next time you dig into the unit you should change to a 75 gpd membrane.
53 psi is low for a 100gpd.
Or you could get a booster pump
