RoDi auto dump first gallon before it hits DI?

Back in the day spectrapure made a multi solenoid add on that would upon start up first do a brief membrane flush followed by opening a valve on the clean water side pre DI to dump the first few minutes of water to drain

I am unable to find any off the shelf system like this anymore. Does anyone have any ideas?

That is designed to bypass the flow restriction on the waste side. The auto timer in it I don’t think would be on long enough to have any impact on the clean water side.
