Rodi container and vinegar smell

I'm washing out my five gallon lowes buckets to use for mixing saltwater and store rodi water. I've googled as many ways as i could but couldn't find any definite answers. I cleaned them with 1 gallon of vinegar and about 3 gallons of hot water. If I still smell vinegar, then how much rinsing do I need to do to get the smell out? Or will the faint smell not bother the quality of the rodi water when filled?

Vinegar is reef safe.

People dose controlled amounts of vinegar in order to control nitrates and phosphates in their reefs. A little bit of residual vinegar will be just fine.

Ok so I need not be concerned with vinegar adding to the tds in my buckets? Sorry for the dumb questions. I've seen you answer a lot of rodi questions and have read whatever questions you've answered on forums I came across. I use vinegar to clean equipment but I've never made my own rodi water before as I just got an rodi set up so I'm gathering as much information as I can to do it correctly.

I bought some 5 gal buckets from firehouse subs that was pickle buckets the smell still jasnt gone away after half a year of letting them sit out in the rain and sun I still have never used them lol

No it shouldn't affect TDS as long as you have let it air dry.
