I'm looking at a food grade white container to store my fresh RODI for auto top offs. Despite being white, the container is actually translucent, which allows me to see the water level inside.

However, this container will be next to my tank and is probably going to get a bit of the tank's light spill. Is this going to be a major problem? I would think that as long as it's o TDS water, it should be...

I have a 2g cube tank that I use for top off that is getting a bit of light, i have not seen any growth yet.

You can use a food safe home depot bucket and simply build a little coffee table for it to sit under.
