I have a 4 stage Bulk Reef Supply system, how often do you change the filters? Or better yet how do you know it’s time to change?

Mine has been up & running about 10 months & I have a 90g tank. I do the standard bi-weekly water changes & daily/weekly top off replacement.

The color change on the DI should be noticeable. And water pressure dropping is an indication of the first 2 stages, I do not know about RO however, I guess measuring TDS after that stage is how I am doing it, but I have a 4 stage RO only that goes to the tripple DI saver along with a tripple probe TDS, I caught the units individually on sale and got the whole setup for only $30 more than my aquetic life whatever brand cheapo 4 stage rodi setup from amazon, and this was fairly recent so I don't have the mileage yet. However, with my conditions, I had to replace all 4 stages of my aquetic life setup at 10 months, and probably should have done it much sooner.

So far the anion stage in my DI is the only one showing signs of depletion, and does a bulk of the work. I've only got 150 gallons of mileage on the DI portion so idk, if you don't see the cilor changing on the mixed bed from the bottom up at all, I would definitely get something to check your TDS.

Sediment filter when pressure drop across the filter increases

Carbon filters gallons passed based on the specs of the filter

Membrane when rejection % is below x%. I use 97%

DI when color changes and TDS not zero
