How often or when do you change your filters?
I was always wondering how to know when filter go bad

TDS meter.

Water coming out of your RO/DI unit should read 0 on this device. When it it starts reading 1, 2, 3 etc it's probably time to replace the filters.

ok, thank you!
I have TDS meter on my rodi system and the paper tester

As mentioned, replace the DI when TDS rises to 1 ppm.

I replaced my sediment filters when the pressure drop across it becomes too high . If you do not have a pressure gauge, reduced flow rate is a similar indicator.

I'd replace the carbon block when it clogs (based on pressure or flow), or after 6-12 months if your water is low in particulates and it doesn't seem to clog much.
