That is what I'm doing..ok, well actually 45g brute with an Eheim bubbler going on it. About 24 hours or so does the trick and then I pump it through DI into my RO storage unit. I'm lucky to have the space for the brute...i've seen numerous posts with people having issues dialing in flow rates with other setups.Can a degassing chamber simply be a 55G brute(s) with airstones?

The PH of the water going into the softener is 7.48, and the coming out is 7.68.I'm not Randy, but I'm waaay less qualified. What is the PH of you water before any water softening?
The water is in a water tower for days, so it should off-gas any CO2.
Okay, I need to chime in on this one. I recently set up a new system at my house and am also going through half of my Anion cartridge in 120 gallons of product water using a Spectrapure Max cap system modified with one sediment filter, two carbon blocks, one RO membrane, Cation Anion, and mixed bed di. The water supply is city water running through my water softener. I was going to pack another Anion filter and not use softened water this time and see if something is leaching out of the water softener resin. The water is in a water tower for days, so it should off-gas any CO2. The village also uses Sodium Hypochlorite at 12.5-15% solution strength.

The water going into the RO membrane is 231, and coming out is 2. So the answer to your question is 2 Tds going into the DI cartridges.What is the tds of the water getting to the di?

I have a call into the village. The water guru and I talk quite frequently, and I am also getting a CO2 test kit from Hanna. I will keep the form updated on my findings.Wow, that is a good drop. That 2 ppm tds should make the di last quite a while. CO2 is the only thing that can deplete the anion that gets through an ro at low tds.

so I noticed the used anion resin I put in a jar to replenish at a later date had turned blue again, does this mean it’s still good even though it turned white in the di canister?I run mine into a degassing chamber which is just a 4" piece of pvc standing up which holds about 5 gallons. This overflows in to a 5 gallon jug that has a high-low tank controller on it running a pump the pumps it thru my DI.
