RODI help please

I just purchased a 4 stage unit and 3 way TDS meter. I’ve made maybe 15 gallons of water so far last couple days.
This morning I made a few gallons, meter read @ 68 source, 1 after RO, and zero after DI.
I just went to make water tonight, source was @72, after RO 5, and after DI bounces between 2 and 3.
Any thoughts on what possibly could have happened? I didn’t change or do anything different. I’ve flushed for a few minutes before and after each use. I really need some water…
Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thank you all very much.

That’s normal, it’s TDS creep. Let the unit run for a few minutes (5-10) and check your TDS again, it should go back to 0.

Thank you, that’s what I read. So I let it run for quite some time. It started at @ 6 and only dropped down to like 2-3 and wouldn’t drop to zero.

Doesn’t sound right to me, my water is 300tds, drops to 5 after membrane, yours being 5 too seems very high.

I would guess it’s a tds meter error, if not that then could be any number of things, membrane faulty, set up incorrectly, using hot water etc

I would buy a tds meter pen, they are cheap, double check your readings before you go any further.

Thank you. I just flushed and let it run @ 10 minutes, turned on the meter, 74 source, 1 after RO, and zero after DI.
I had read also dissolved CO2 can throw off the meter so maybe the city does something in the middle of the night? I dunno. Just glad I can make some water.
