hello i have a 30 gal reef tank and i wanna get a rodi unit i need help i love in a small studio and i just do a 10 percent water change a week what kind of rodi system would be good to hook up to the facuet and when it maks 30 ghd can i only make 5 gallon ? Please helpppp and what kind to get nothing expensive because in a year or so i wanna get a bigger tank around 120 gal thank uuuuu

Sounds like a 75 gallon per day 3-4 stage RO/DI system would be your best bet. That's what i use and i love it. My RO/DI unit that i got from Bulk Reef Supply has two options, to connect to a hose fitting or a faucet. 75 gallons per day is perfect for when you upgrade to a 120 Gallon. And there are auto-shutoff for RO/DI systems but im not too smart on how they work. Now what i reccommend for you to do is figure out your budget for a RO/DI unit. Now because they make water so slow it would take about 45 minutes to an hour to make 5 Gallons of water depending on how many stages you get and if you get anything from 75 gallons per day or lower.

Here is your best value in RO/DI.

It has many advantages of comparable systems such as lower micron near absolute rated sediment filters which do a better job of protecting the carbon block so it does a better job of protecting the RO membrane. The RO membranes are specialy treated, proven to improve their efficiency so DI lasts longer and the DI resin is custom blended to be only the freshest and most efficient available. They also use the much better capillary tube flow restrictor which you the end user can adjust for the perfect waste ratio for your water conditions.
