How do I disconnect the hoses without breaking anything? Seems like theyre permanently attached.

I take a pair of needle nose pliers, place the jaws on each side of the tube and press the collar toward the fitting while pulling on the tube with my hand.

Awesome thanks! I'll give it a shot tonight.

I took my RODI unit apart yesterday and now have some leaks after reassembly. So now I need use silicone tape on the fittings.

If its leaking from the colar you can try pushing the tube inward to seat properly and then pull back on the tubing without holding down the colar to lock it. Good luck bud.

When you pull the tubing out sometimes it gets pits/groves if you feel the end and it isn't smooth can cause it to leak, I have cut the very end off the tube so it is smooth before reassembling . Luckily I had extra length on mine
