Hi everyone
How often should I be changing my rodi filters.
I currently make 300 gallons a month or a little less.
It is a 4 stage system and the water going in have a TDS of around 350
Thanks in advance

depends. which filters do you have?

"It depends" is the best answer lol. These are the guidelines I follow: change sediment filter when it looks really dirty or pressure drops, carbon blocks when the chlorine is detectable in the waste water, DI when the color changes or tds is above 0, and ro membrane when the rejection ratio increases.

Sediment when they get dirty
Charcoal when chlorine shows up after filter and before membrane
Membrane when tds goes up
DI when it is more than 0

eh kinda. like i said it depends on which filters you have. here’s the run down.

membrane - <95% rejection
sediment - every six month or sooner if necessary (clogged)
carbon - every six months or sooner if necessary (clogged or detectable chlorine)
di - >0 tds

i say depends because some of us run two di filters and that changes things slightly.

and just as a reminder, it’s always good to clean your system once a year.
