Hey Guys,

Wondering what people are using out here?
3/4/5 stage?

Hoping the 4 stage would be enough from brs?

Dom - Consider a 4 stage RODI as the default configuration: sediment>carbon>RO>DI. This configuration will suit most people most of the time. Add additional filters ("stages") to the default to address specific water quality issues.

Heavy sediment loads? Add another sediment filter
Chloramines? Add a Chloraguard carbon block
Iron? Manganese? Hydrogen sulfide? We have solutions for those too.

Looks like you get your water from LA, and yes, they use chloramines:
"To address other regulations and improve the overall quality of our water, LADWP has entered the final phase to expand the use of chloramine to disinfect most of its water distribution system. The use of chloramine will improve taste and reduce any odors. Most importantly, it is a key method in reducing harmful disinfection byproducts."

The other potential issues I mentioned above are very UNlikely to be present in City water, so here you go:
