So I got my system all set up and ran it for several hours yesterday. I got about 40 gallons of product water but the problem I have is the fact that the unit is spitting out pretty much just as much water out the waste line. I did some research and found a flow restrictor valve (don't have one on the unit) and am thinking of getting one. Would this be a good idea? Also I am using some aquariums as resivores and would like to install a shutoff valve in them but don't know how I would install them into the aquariums without having to drill them. Is there any way to do this or maybe a different product to prevent the rodi system from flooding my utility room? Any advice would be awesome.

yes get a restrictive so you can get the correct ratio for your unit.

they make float switches that clamp on tank rims. specific brand names escape me at the moment.
