RODI - Laundry/Garden T connection?

I have a feed adapter for under the sink where we live, but I’m wondering if there is something just like that, that I could ‘T’ off of my laundry cold water connection?

I believe this is the same as a garden hose? Sorry, I’m not super familiar with plumbing stuff.

(hot water side was easier to get a picture but both are the same)

and yes garden hose stuff is what you're looking for also known as GHT or garden hose thread as opposed to the more standard NPT or national pipe thread.

I used this exact same splitter. Found it in home depot garden section.

As others said, a simple garden hose splitter would work, but I would advise against a brass one. Though it may not be the biggest deal if you’re using an RODI unit, and it sounds like others are doing it, it could leach toxic substances that would harm inverts.

They make plastic ones that would work just as well.

The RODI unit would clean out any toxins or heavy metals. Might cause a small addition usage of filter media but I have no idea what the impact would be on the filters.

Your water makes contact with all types of metal before coming out of the faucet. I know mine goes through old galvanized, copper and most every faucet, valve and hose bib is made of brass

Is there a technical name for this piece to find it online? The closest I have does not have the screw on bit that tightens around the line

I have this piece, but it doesn’t look as secure as the one you pictured above
