RODI prefilters: canister 10" vs 20"

Hello guys can you make a comparison of running the prefilters of the RODI system using 10 or 20" canisters ?
What is the impact of the pressure drop before the RO membrane of a brand new 10 and 20" prefilters?
Does the 20"filter last 2x more ?
What are the advantages ?
Is the 20" prefilters indicated for a high RODI demand ?

I'm no expert but, I believe the longer 20" canisters are for commercial applications where you are making larger amounts of water say like a 400 gallon per day system. I would imagine they do just the same as the smaller 10" canisters. Just able to pass more volume of water in a shorter period of time. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. How much water are you trying to make at a time?

@RobW is correct. the 20" filters are typically used when we're trying to push more water through the filter. For our 75 to 200 GPD systems, the 10" cartridges work out just fine. If you were using a 400+ GPD system like in Rob's example, the 20" canisters for sediment and carbon block would be a better choice.
