I just set up my first RODI unit last night and I noticed that the water coming out from the waste water line is not stopping (1 drop per sec) even after the auto shutoff valve was activated. When i checked this morning, it was still dripping...it stopped when i closed the valve on the intake line. I have a BRS 6 stage unit with booster pump, auto shutoff and auto flush.

My questions are
1. Is it normal for water to continue to drip from the waste water line even if auto shutoff is engaged (meaning not producing RODI water)?

2. Do you close the valve from the intake line and unplug the power for the booster pump, auto shutoff and auto flush when your done producing RODI?

I am new to this so any advise from this community will be greatly appreciated.
