After buying water from the LFS I am ready to look at getting my own RODI system.
Leaning towards the BRS 5 stage right now.

Here is what I need to know. I only have 1 sink in my house that I think I could hook up the system to. It’s an old utility sink in the basement that I believe has threads on it. Does the RODI system just screw onto the faucet?

thanks!

Yeah you can, it comes with these adaptors. It's a 1/4" water hose.

I keep my BRS 4 stage RO/DI unit in an old rubbermaid tote. When I want to make water, I just put the whole tote in the deep sink and screw it right onto the faucet. The waste drain goes into the drain for the washer.
Lots of folks use the hardware included with the unit to permanently tap into a water line, and mount the unit on a wall. That's just not feasible in the space I have.

Perfect! That’s what I was hoping someone would say! Mine will not be permanent either.
Thanks!

Couple good BRS videos on YouTube as to connection options and fittings

I used to use the faucet adapter myself. I also made a frame out of 2x4s and put caster wheels on it so I could move it around easier. I now have it permently mounted though. Pretty sure the BRS unit comes with the faucet adapter.
