I have only run about 200 gallons through my setup since upgrading it. It was a 4S 100G unit. Its now a 200G a day unit. If you look at my DI S2 the Anion appears to have been used a bunch disproportionately to the others. Is this normal? Do you go through one more than another? I can totally tell the difference with the water out of this vs the 4S. I would have diatoms the day after all water changes. Silicates we’re getting through. Couldn’t tell if it was that I didn’t have the additional DI stages or that my pressure was low, or both. So I just upgraded all of it.

I burn through anion more than twice as fast as cation. I added an extra anion chamber and rotate when I replace the depleted first chamber. I do this as it’s just too easy for me to miss noticing the color change and this gives me a decent buffer.
